Happy Friday Reader! Who else is excited for the weekend? I've been enjoying local finds on the weekends. The weather has been cold and dreary here in Texas, but getting out of the house when possible is such a mood booster. So here's you friendly reminder to get outside when you can ๐ 1 | We got snow in northeast Texas! Ok, this isn't super rare, but when it snows in Texas, it's a huge deal for everyone. I loved the short-lived winter wonderland; sometimes I really miss the snow (I lived in Chicago for 3 years!). 2 | Nathan and I found a new spot and it was a hit for us. If you live in the Dallas area, check out White Box Roastery Co. If you're exploring the US (or Quebec City), check out my local coffee shop recommendations! 3 | One pot recipes have been the go-to in our house recently. My favorite recent recipe is this sweet potato & black bean chili! It's perfect for the cold weather. Fill a bowl and get cozy on your couch with it, you won't regret it. 4 | Big Bend National Park needs to be on your travel list! This Texas gem is a little hard to get to, but I'll help you plan your adventure ๐๐ผ. Check out my guide on how to get to Big Bend & where to stay. Good news is that the camping is amazing here, but their mountain lodge is perfect for those who don't want to sleep outside. 5 | Catch me reading "When Women Were Dragons" this week! I'm enjoying it so far; it's a quick read but entertaining and empowering. Find it on my Amazon storefront if you're interested. |

Happy Friday Reader! It's been a minute since I've sent a newsletter; sorry about the delay. I didn't think February was going to be that busy for me, but it has been! In travel news, we visited San Diego last week and it was a blast. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved the city, the beaches, and the amazing food. Nathan had a conference, so I took myself on some solo adventures to explore what the city has to offer. I'm currently writing San Diego blogs, so keep an eye out. In the...
